US CRICKET LEAGUE (USCL) is based in New Jersey. The USCL's mission is to play and promote the game of cricket in the Region among both adult and youth players. USCL is founded based on the principles of fair play cricket and upholding the spirit of cricket. A T-20 USCL tournament will be played in the upcoming season. A regular season runs from spring into early fall.

WHY USCL?

US Cricket League (USCL) was formed to provide organized cricket tournament for participation of youth, casual cricket players and cricket enthusiasts all over New Jersey, Metro New York and Philadelphia area. USCL provides a perfect platform to satisfy the cricketing appetite for all cricket lovers, irrespective of their age and skill. To this effect, the league has formulated on a process based on each team’s feedback at the end of the year and process shall be improved upon to make it a scalable and sustainable league for years to come.

The goal is executing the cricket tournament smoothly, effectively and in a transparent manner every year. Also, to thrust the sportsmanship and camaraderie among the players involved.

TOURNAMENT PROFILE

USCL opts for an open tournament format model depending upon odd/even teams enrolled every year. USCL expects to enroll an even number of teams so every team gets to play each week and no time is lost. A minimum number of games shall be announced based on the number of enrolled teams, available weekend excluding long weekends (US holidays) and with the view of playoff schedule beyond the regular season. 

WHAT TO EXPECT? 

• Will be using grade A Pink/white ball for the tournament.
• Well planned tournament schedule announced in advance before the start of the tournament.
• Good quality of umpires and match referees for playoffs
• Effective communications.
• Timely resolution of issues should there be any outside of governing rules.

2020 USCL Fall T-20 Tournament

Tekniqi Knights and Legions CC are Joint Champions

Joint Champions: Tekniqi Knights and Legions Cricket Club. This was a run fest finals where Legions put up 201/2 with explosive batting by Laxman Nyamagouda, Tejas Reddy and Kapil Khanna. Chasing 202 Tekniqi Knights were looking to chase this comfortably with Vandit Prajapati and Manirag Reddy with strike rates of 161 and 200. But heavy rains nterrupted the game and Tekniqi Knights and Legions CC were declared Joint Champions.

2020 USCL Summer T-20 Tournament

Youth Power CC are Champions and United Cricket Club (UCC) are Runners up.

One of the Exciting finals where the game came down to the wire. YPCC won a very tight run chase with amazing batting display by Kunal Baride (Finals MVP) and Parth Patel which ensured that they were able to chase a really good target against United Cricket Club (UCC) which looked like it's going to win the championship. Great batting display by Kunal and well supported by Parth in the end. United Cricket Club set up a very good target of 161 with good batting by Savan Patel and supported by Prem Kishore and Poojan Mody.

2019 USCL Fall T-20 Tournament

United Cricket Club (UCC) are Champions and Sayreville Gladiators are Runners up.

United Cricket Club (UCC) are the Champions and Sayreville Gladiators are the runners up and gave a tough fight and brought the game very close till the last over with their spirited fight and great batting by Siddharth and Karthik but fell short. UCC put up a competitive target of 128 with great batting by Ronak Patel and Hiren Patel. UCC's disciplined bowling attack helped defending a target of 128 in becoming the champions.

2019 USCL Summer T-20 Tournament

United Cricket Club (UCC) are Champions and SL Gang CC are Runners up.

United Cricket Club (UCC) are the Champions and SL Gang CC are the runners up. UCC strong bowling lineup came up handy in defending a score of 109. UCC lived up to its reputation throughout the tournament and dominated the tournament. SL Gang gave a spirited flighted and fell short. SL Gang showed courage and reminded that they are the 2018 champions by containing an explosive UCC batting line up. In the end UCC prevailed where its defeated SL Gang by 40 runs. Anish Patel from UCC was the Finals MVP.

2018 USCL T-20 Tournament

SL Gang CC are Champions and CricMax are Runners up.

In a match befitting of a tournament finale, SL Gang won the USCL title after they defeated CricMax CC by 7 wickets in New Jersey. 

Despite an underwhelming start CricMax managed to put a competitive score of 129 runs in 20 overs with good batting performance by Dhaval, Div and Kevin. Chasing 130 runs Chathura from SL Gang anchored on one end inspite of few early wickets. Chathura and Niomal consolidated the innings to ensure that they are closer to the victory. Chathura hit 4 towering sixes into the trees and suitably supported with big hitting by Niomal who hit the winning runs in a style by hitting a six. Chathura won the man of the match award for his match winning performance of 64 in 54 deliveries with 4 sixes and 3 boundaries.
